The Drifters won the Tournament of Champions in Florida today in the 60’s AA Division!
The team went 5-1 and won the championship by 17 runs. Congrats to the boys in representing LVSSA in winning the title and Garrick's taking the batting contest.
Lorenzi is alive and well and showing the rest of the country how softball is played in Las Vegas……..good job men!!

Dear Community Member,
We are excited to announce the formation of a senior men’s softball team based in Las Vegas, Nevada, to honor the legacy of Jackie Robinson, who wore number 42 for the Brooklyn Dodgers, and was the first African American to play major League Baseball from 1947 to 1956.
Our long-term vision is to establish a 42’s team in every state, with each team eventually supporting the development of others.
This is more than just a team – it is a movement to keep history alive. We refuse to let Jackie Robinson’s legacy and impact be erased.
The Las Vegas 42’s is made up of senior players; ages 60 and up, and we are currently forming the first team here in Las Vegas.
We kindly ask for donations to help cover the cost of uniforms and equipment (hats, shirts, gloves, etc., with our team’s name and numbers).
We are hoping to raise $850 to get started.
