Scott, who is single after being married for 45 years, has been with LVSSA for as long as he's been in Las Vegas, which is 3 years.
Scott was born at Fort Pendleton in Northridge, CA. At the age of 21, he joined the Army for the next 30 years and 23 days. Scott was a First Sergeant at the Nuclear Test Sight in Mercury, NV.
Scott is the Tuesday/Friday player representative and is on the Board of Directors. He plays softball as often as possible, as much as 4 or 5 days per week. But, as much as he enjoys playing softball, Scott really enjoys his family the most. I could see that while talking to him doing this Player Profile. Scott loves all of his kids. First, is Scott's son, Walter who is 46. Walter is a Biomedical Equipment Technician at the VA hospital in Las Vegas. In addition, Walter served in the Air Force for 20 years. Scott's grandson , Isaiah, who is a recent college graduate, works with his dad, Walter at the VA. Scott's daughter, Jennifer, 45, also resides in Las Vegas. Scott's grandson, Trevon, is a drone operator with the Air Force. He's currently assigned at Nellis AFB, working with the Top Gun Trainers. Scott's great grandchildren are Emma, 8, who is in the picture, and Shiloh who is 5. Emma lives with the Seneca Tribe near Spokane, and then spends summers with her great grandpa. Shiloh lives in Las Vegas. She starts kindergarten next week. Scott appears more excited about it than Shiloh probably is.

I played softball in my early 20's in South Florida when I was the announcer at the Hollywood Greyhound Track. Our team name was the "Misfits".
Fast forward 30 something years later, while working at Santa Fe Station dealing dice, Big Al Rozzi, who was my immediate supervisor, and who plays softball, would talk to me about playing. I will admit that Al was an excellent supervisor. He disliked most of the players as much as I did. I've been with LVSSA for 8 years.
My first career.....I was a race caller at Greyhound, Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse Tracks. My announcing career spanning some 20 years took me to New Hampshire, Florida, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and New Mexico. I wrote for the Daily Racing Form and other publications.
